I could hear the surf pumping from my bed so got up early and headed across to the beach. It's quite nice walking acros to the beach in your wetusit with your surfboard under you arm lit only by the street lamps!

The surf was a good 3 foot and really clean, some of the sets were a little bigger at times making me wish I had taken my 6'6" acriss rather than my fish, but most of the time it was perfect. I had quite a few really nice wave, but the session was fairly short-lived as the waves soon died off and a lght SW breeze developed which started to chop up the faces a little. Glad I went out when I did.
